Acre Shepherd's Huts hires luxury, environmentally friendly shepherd's hut restrooms for weddings, corporate events, festivals, parties, sporting events, and private functions along the Sussex coast and surrounding areas.
Two models are available: The Sussex, accommodating up to 120 guests with two premium bathrooms (from £895 per event), and The Kent, catering for up to 170 guests with two premium bathrooms, an additional restroom with two urinals, and a separate bathroom (from £995 per event). Hand-built on Ifor Williams road chassis trailers, each hut is designed to resemble a traditional shepherd's hut with a corrugated curved steel roof and wooden interior, finished with porcelain toilets and basins. A key distinguishing feature is the fresh water flush system — equivalent to a domestic toilet — replacing the recirculating chemical systems common elsewhere. All consumables are eco-friendly, including recycled toilet paper, cotton hand towels, and natural hand wash and lotion dispensers. Hot water is supplied to all basins, and a drinks and sanitiser bistro table is provided outside each hut for guest use.
Every hire includes a pre-event site visit, delivery, setup, and collection. A firm grass or hardstanding surface, suitable vehicle access, mains or generator power, and a fresh water source are required. Pump-out and mid-event servicing are available for extended occasions.
